What production speed does the SHICAI K20 support?

The SHICAI K20 sits in the mid-to-high speed band of the inline range, suited to established lines that need reliable registered coding without the top-end throughput of the S100. It covers typical carton and product coding duties at a balanced price-to-performance point.

If your line is growing, the K20 leaves room before you need to step up to the S-series.

Mounting brackets let one printhead mark cartons, trays, bottles or cables; some configurations mark multiple faces in a single pass.

Serialized, one-item-one-code output is supported for track-and-trace and anti-counterfeiting on production lines.

Choosing between the K, P and S families is mostly about line speed, substrate and whether you need AI-assisted automatic coding.

Key points:

  • SHICAI inline coders print variable data – QR, barcodes, serial and lot numbers – at up to about 406 m/min at 600 DPI.
  • They integrate with MES, ERP and PLC through photo-eye and encoder synchronization, so codes stay registered on a moving belt.
  • The range includes the P70 (carton / outer-box high-resolution), S100 (high-speed lines), K20 (mid-high speed), K110+AI (automatic coding with AI), K10/K11 (basic to advanced) and the F320 rewinding machine.

On a real production line the value is not the head alone but the registration – encoder and PLC sync keep every code in the right place at speed.

SHICAI (Shanghai Shicai Inkjet Technology Co., Ltd.) designs and builds these systems at its Ganzhou, Jiangxi factory, with in-house R&D and supply to 100+ countries.

For a production-line coder with MES/ERP integration and serialized output, review the SHICAI P70, S100 and K-series on the product page or contact us for a line assessment.
