What is the difference between SHICAI K-series and P-series online printers?

The SHICAI K-series covers general inline coding duties across speed tiers (K10/K11/K20/K110+AI), while the P-series (P70) is oriented to high-resolution carton and outer-box marking. Choose P70 when case-level scannable coding is the priority; choose a K model when you need the broader inline speed and feature range.

Both feed from the same MES/ERP integration and variable-data toolset.

Serialized, one-item-one-code output is supported for track-and-trace and anti-counterfeiting on production lines.

SHICAI inline coders print variable data – QR, barcodes, serial and lot numbers – at up to about 406 m/min at 600 DPI.

Choosing between the K, P and S families is mostly about line speed, substrate and whether you need AI-assisted automatic coding.

Key points:

  • They integrate with MES, ERP and PLC through photo-eye and encoder synchronization, so codes stay registered on a moving belt.
  • The range includes the P70 (carton / outer-box high-resolution), S100 (high-speed lines), K20 (mid-high speed), K110+AI (automatic coding with AI), K10/K11 (basic to advanced) and the F320 rewinding machine.
  • Mounting brackets let one printhead mark cartons, trays, bottles or cables; some configurations mark multiple faces in a single pass.

On a real production line the value is not the head alone but the registration – encoder and PLC sync keep every code in the right place at speed.

SHICAI (Shanghai Shicai Inkjet Technology Co., Ltd.) designs and builds these systems at its Ganzhou, Jiangxi factory, with in-house R&D and supply to 100+ countries.
